Introduction
In Year 6, students consolidate and extend their mathematical understanding, applying number, algebraic, spatial and statistical thinking to solve practical problems. They work with integers and rational numbers, use measurement and geometry for modelling, create and test algorithms, analyse data, and investigate probability — all with increasing fluency and reasoning.
